Farm holidays in the Lower Monferrato

An Agriturismo holiday at Fontanile

The Bastian farmhouse is located in the first hills of the Asti area (276 meters above sea level) surrounded by vineyards, with a beautiful view of the Unesco heritage hills.

The gentle profile of the hills of Langhe-Roero and Monferrato received a prestigious award on June 22, 2016 in Doha, Qatar, where UNESCO officially registered it as the 50th Italian site in the World Heritage List.
The culture of wine has been chosen as an element characterizing the landscapes of Langhe-Roero and Monferrato.

The Agriturismo is family run and offers genuine rural hospitality. We have two lovely rooms that sleep three, each with private bathroom, and a room that sleeps 3-4 with a wheelchair accessible bathroom with shower.

There is also a bright sitting and reading room (with tourist guidebooks on the surrounding areas, suggestions for interesting day trips and updated events programs), a TV room, bicycle shed and a convenient parking lot for your automobiles and motor cycles.

In our garden we have set up a heated whirlpool tub for those who love to relax body and spirit.

Each morning (wake-up call on request), a rich breakfast is served in the dining room with homemade cakes and jams, fresh bread, milk, coffee or tea. You can also make reservations for a home-style dinner/supper prepared with typical local products.
We also provide menus, having been informed about the preparation of gluten-free meals by AIC - Italian Celiac Association -, for those suffering from celiac disease.

Our Farm Holiday Home is situated on about 5 hectares of land that has been passed down for three generations and renovated over the last few decades, while maintaining the local autochthonous species, as well as farming and wine growing traditions.

We love our land, cultivating it on integrated management principles to protect the environment; we follow the rules established by European laws and we use rainwater from the roofs to water our flowers and vegetables, we heat our water with photovoltaic panels, and we've built our house with innovative methods to increase insulation and facilitate energy saving.

Your pets are also welcome.
